Stuffed Peppers

Green Peppers
½ lb to 1 lb. hamburger
½ cup diced celery
¼ cup chopped onion
⅔ cup minute rice
¾ cup stewed tomatoes
½ tsp. salt
⅛ tsp. pepper
Grated Cheese
I have the peppers and remove seeds, then immerse in boiling water until tender. Brown hamburger and then add diced celery and onion. Saute the above until cooked. Then add minute rice, stewed tomatoes, salt and pepper.
Bring to boil, fluffing once or twice with fork. Remove from heat and cover. Let stand 10 minutes or less.
Put peppers in shallow pan. Fill shells with hamburger mixture. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake about 5-10 minutes @ 350° F.
